Getting and taking the right medicines is essential. While many products are available without prescription (commonly described as Over The Counter), most regular medication is issued on prescriptions. This is a legal process subject to restrictions.
To provide a safe service we require sufficient notice and opportunity for the doctor to prepare the prescriptions. Please allow a minumum notice of 1 working day when you require a repeat prescription.
Some medicines require to be monitored, and we cannot continue to issue prescriptions for medicines for patient who have not had appropriate monitoring.
A prescription is valid for a maximum of 6 months.
There are special restrictions on some medicines which are addictive or carry increased risk
