Dr Hanlon Graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He trained in Beaumont Hospital, St James's Hospital, St Patrick's Hospital, The Rotunda and the National Children's Hospital before completing GP Specialist training with Dr Martin White in Nobber Co Meath
He is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners
He is a founding member and former director of KDOC
He is currently the HSE's National Clinical Advisor in Primary Care and has a limited practice committment
His additional qualifications include a Diploma in Child Health (RCSI), a Diploma in Quality and Leadership (RCSI) and a Diploma in Health Economics
